Chronology of cameras Eho Altissa
During the 90s, there was a BF (Big Finder) fashion on some compacts. It has obviously been widely anticipated in the early 50s by Eho. This box is part of the Altissa series which began before the war. They are well made metal box, covered with a nice jacketing which, moreover, provides a good grip. These box cameras almost always have a straight viewfinder. It is therefore strange that the D is so called for "Durchsichtsucher" emphasizing a common feature. But the overweening size of the viewfinder is very unusual and should bring parallax problems.
A cable release socket is present in the trigger to the left of the lens.
